Ready to Rock-n-Roll

University of Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham announced senior Brett Ratliff as the Utes' starting quarterback Wednesday morning. Ratliff helped lead Utah to a 41-34 overtime victory over rival BYU in the final regular-season contest last season. He then quarterbacked the Utes to a 38-10 rout of then-No. 24 Georgia Tech in the Emerald Bowl.

Utah's offence can expect to see great things from
Junior WR Brian Hernandez. All-conference candidate was granted a one-year extension on his five-year clock from the NCAA on July 18, 2006, that will allow him to compete through the 2007-08 season ... Utah's top returning receiver is extremely competitive, fast and sure-handed ... runs great routes and is very tough to defend one-on-one ... makes big gains after the catch ... missed spring ball following ankle surgery on Jan. 5, but should be full strength by fall.
Marquis Wilson showing his stuff on the feild in front of coaches and teamates. Will start at receiver as a true sophomore ... backup punt returner .

Utah Man

MMMmmmmmmm! You can taste the season already.

I couldn't help but go nuts for my team as they became the first non-BCS team to bust into a BCS game. Utah went to the 2005 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, AZ. They took on the Panthers form Pittsburgh and obliterated them in a 35-7 defeat.

Team spirit goes a long way. Good thing this paint lasts longer than the normal Halloween stuff. I had a blast painting up for every game.

ESPN Gameday came to town when Utah took of in-state rival BYU in the annual Holy War.
These guys were painted every game...even in October through January. The Utah MUSS is filled with crazed fans ready to shout the Utah Man Fight Song.

This says it all. Utah the first BCS busters.

Lee Corso, John Saunders, Kirk Herbsteit and gang get a first hand look at the Running Utes as ESPN Gameday came to Salt Lake City. They covered what to be as one of the most watched rivalry games in college football. The Holy War Utah vs. Brigham Young.

The University of Utah is nestled against the Wasatch Mountain in Salt Lake City, Utah. The majestic view is one only every University could dream of. This is home to the Utah Utes.
